Hi,

here the next graffiti after the fight for the island of Crete:
"Wir schlugen den Tommy auf Kreta "We beat the Tommy (the British troops) on Crete
jetzt geht´s zurück zur Netha." we we´re going back to Netha (an old German first name for a girl)."

Hi,

here another pic, not with a real graffiti, but also interesting. That must be a pic at the end of the military service of these soldiers sitting on an Einheitsdiesel. Here the words:
Up on the bord: "Dienstjahr 1936/38" ("service year 1936/38")
Left on the board: "Reserve hat Ruh" ("reserve has quiet")
On the white board: "Wasser abgelassen" ("water let out"), relating the cooling water in the bonnet.
The board in the middle of the bonnet: "Nicht betriebsfähig" ("not ready for operation").

Hi,

let´s go on with the graffities on vehicles. Here an interesting pic with the following text:
"Erbeutet vom Süddeutschen Freikorps Baon II/1 "Captured by the free corps Baon II/1
am 23.9.(1938) bei Zettwing." 23rd Spetember (1938) near to Zettwing / Cetwiny (a village in Czechia at the border to Austria).

Hi,

here another one. I can decipher only the beginning: "Royal Oak". That will remember of the successful attack of a German submarine on the British battleship "Royal Oak" 13/14 October 1939.

Hi,

here another graffiti after the campaign in Poland:
"Das polnische Großmaul ist jetzt klein, "The Polish bigmouth is small now,
bald bist du dran, Chamberlain!" soon You will be for it, Chamberlain!" (Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1937 to 1940)
I hope, I could translate it without a mistake. Source of the pic: an expired ebay auction.

Hi,

here a truck with many graffities after the campaign in Poland I think. But I cannot decipher all.
on the radiator: "Krakau" - "Cracow" (the old capital of Poland in the south)
on the mudguard: something with "Chamberlain", the British Prime Minister
on the door: "Und wir werden weiter siegen" - "and we will go on being victorious"
"Krakau grüßt die deutsche Heimat" - "Cracow salutes the German home land"
on the sideboard: "Die Juden sind schon weg" - "The jews have already gone"
on the tarpaulin: here I cannot decipher only a few words: "Krakau ... Tarnow (two Polish towns)
"ist ein (deutsch)es Haus nun" - "is a (German) house now"
"... raus." - "... out."

Hi,

here an interesting graffiti on a bus:
"Musikkorps Flak-Rgt.6" - "Military band AA-regiment 6"
"Er trug und beherbergte uns über 50.000 km gut" - "It was carrying and accomodating us well over 50.000 km. "
"687 Stand- und andere Konzerte" - "687 standing or other concerts"
"bei Truppe und Bevölkerung ... " - " at the troops and the people ... "
The rest of the text I cannot decipher.

Hi Bert,

A bit better version of the photo at Image
The watermark in your shot is one used by a particularly nasty eBay type who pilfers digital images (including other eBay sellers' auction photos) and sells copies thereof.

Hi Markus,

thank You very much for posting this better photo and the information about the seller.
Here the corrected text:
"Musikkorps Flak-Rgt.6" - "Military band AA-regiment 6"
"Er trug und beherbergte uns über 50.000 km zu:" - "It was carrying and accomodating us over 50.000 km to: "
"687 Stand- und andere Konzerte" - "687 standing or other concerts"
"der Truppe und Bevölkerung in West und Ost. " - "of the troops and the people in the west and the east. "
The last word I cannot decipher, maybe the first name of the writer (Friedrich).

Best regards

Bert
