Hi,

here another graffiti of a a paratroop unit (source of the pic: an expired ebay auction):
"Mutter sperr die Tochter ein," - "Mother lock the daughter up,"
"die Fallschirmjäger kehren heim!" - "the paratroopers are returning home!"
Sorry, I cannot decipher the word right to this text (maybe "Klatsche" - "fly-swat").

Hi,

here a pic of a medical battalion with the names of the drivers after the campaign in France I think (because of the name of the French town Chalon" on two tarpaulins).
From the left to the right:
"Adolf - ?? - Peter - Walter"

Hi Larry,

thank You very much for posting this really interesting pic. With Your permission I will try to translate the graffiti of the last pic:
In the front: "Achtung Lesen!" - "Attention, read!"
On the left side: "Von 10.00 - 12.00 / 13.00 - 14.00 Fahrten zur Kaserne" - "From 10 - 12 / 13 - 14 o´clock trips to the barracks"
"ab Hauptbahnhof mit unseren Fahrzeugen" - "from the main station with our vehicles"
"Geländefahrten quer durch die Heide!" - "Cross-country drives straight through the heath!"

Regards

Hi Bert,

Thank you for the translation. I wonder why they wrote that information on their truck. For the camera perhaps?

Cheers,
Larry

Hi Kerry,

thank You very much for posting "the other angle on the interesting mix of named medical vehicles."

Hi Slava,

thank You very much for posting this interesting pic. Here the translation:
"Dear fatherland, be quiet.
We are coming from the East and are going to the (river) Rhine".

Best regards
