Two A-H Generals

Michael Gärtner Edler von Karstwehr
as GM in 'Die k. k. bzw. k. u. k. Generalität 1816-1918'

My records indicate that Franz Breitwieser Edler von Breitenwiesen was an Oberst in TrainBaon 7 with a seniority of 01 Mai 1918

MJK08

Looking for Michael Gärtner Edler von Karstwehr

Michael Gärtner Edler von Karstwehr was a Generalmajor with a seniority of 01 Nov 1915
Kmdt. 48. ID from Mai-Aug 1918, but I can't locate him after that.

Hi,

Franz Breitwieser Edler von Breitenwiesen was promoted to Titular-Generalmajor in February 1933.

Michael Gärtner Edler von Karstwehr was promoted to Titular-Feldmarschalleutnant on 9 April 1935, shortly before his death.
Assignments:
: Commanding Officer, 22nd Field Artillery Brigade
: Army Artillery General, 3rd Army
- Apr 1918: Commanding Officer, 61st Infantry Brigade
Apr 1918 - Nov 1918: General Officer Commanding, 48th Infantry Division
1 Jan 1919: Retired
