Nashorn ace, Leutnant Albert Ernst, was platoon commander of 1st company of sPzJagAbt 519, In December of 1943, he destroyed some 14 Soviet tanks in a single day using only 21 round of ammunition. The engagement took place near Vitebsk and Albert Ernst received a nickname "Tiger of Vitebsk". A total of 19 enemy tanks in numerous attacks by the Soviets, and on January 22nd of 1944, he was awarded the Knight’s Cross. He later commanded the 1st company of sPzJagAbt 512 (equipped with Jagdtigers).

This is a commissioned crew and before shipping it out, decided to take out my FOA Nashorn, built by German Billy for some images. Took advantage of a rare early morning snow dusting Friday morning for these images out in my yard! 8O

Had been planning something like this for over two years, working the whole area to get something different, a winter scene in Puerto Rico!

This is maybe my 4th Albert Ernst crew. For this one I used five premium head sculpts.
Hope you enjoy these.
