Hi
I am sending to you, remains of stand for FLAK near fort 31 Benedykt in Cracow.
During World War II, the cannons captured by the Wehrmacht (mostly French, but probably also Polish, Belgian and other) served in the German army as 7.5 cm FK97 (f) (7.5 cm Feldkanone 231 (f)), some of them adapted for anti-tank purposes as 7.5 cm PaK 97/38 (on the gun carriage 5 cm PaK 38) and the most interesting part of us was adapted for anti-aircraft purposes, as 7.5 cm Flak 97 (f). For the latter part, plans have been designed and prepared for a stationary station consisting of a concrete base with a screw for fixing the cannon and a steel structure with a "control" platform for direct assembly of the cannon. There were also assumptions for a field (wood and earth) protection of the fragments.
The 7.5 cm Flak 97 (f) guns were assembled, among others, on the 'Atlantic Walley' (unfortunately I do not know the assembly methods and the anti-chasm protection) and in the present Poland, among others, in Warsaw, Łódź, Kraków, Poznań, Dolny (m .in. Wrocław) and Upper (including Zabrze, KK) Silesia, Police, Starachowice, Stalowa Wola.
