Chinese Naval Commanders Between 1936 and 1945

Post by Doomajo » 05 May 2018, 02:56

I am trying to get a compiled list, as the internet is fruitless, of Chinese Admirals and the like during the period between 1936 and 1945. It would be amazing if pictures could be given as well. Any and all lists are welcomed, as I am not expecting too much info other than Fleet Admiral Chen Shaokuan to be honest. Thanks in advance for any answers/support.

第二任海軍部長 陳紹寬, 1932年1月1日至1938年1月31日.
第一任海軍總司令 陳紹寬, 1938年2月1日至1945年12月31日.

I am not expecting too much either. You need to understand written Chinese.

The second Minister of the Navy, Chen Shaokuan, was from January 1, 1932 to January 31, 1938.
The first commander of the Navy, Chen Shaokuan, was from February 1, 1938 to December 31, 1945.

I really appreciate your help xD

Hi Doomajo,

If I remember rightly, a senior Chinese naval commander escaped from Hong Kong on a British motor boat shortly before the Japanese captured the place. It might be worth following that up.
