Turn One: Russian Player Moves
1. Lead, BA 6 Armor Car , Bounding First Fire vs SS 9-1 Leader/Squads/MMG/LMG in Wood Hex /TEM +1
result Pin Task Check, SS Units Each Pass Pin Task Check Dice Roll/Leader Highest Morale First
2. German Player declares Defensive First Fire vs Russian Lead Armor Car using MMG To Hit Table/Vehicle Target Type
a. Defensive First Fire Phase is when Defending Units Fire at Opponents MOVING Units/
b. Movement Modifiers for Vehicles/Infantry /Ground Units apply only During Move Phase/Defensive First Fire Phase
Example: 467 Squad Moves across Open Ground / expending 1 MF per Open Ground Hex
467 Squad subject to -1 First Fire Move in Open/ and -1 First Fire Non Assault Move
Defensive First Fire Dice Roll of 5, would be Modified to 3 Line of Infantry Fire Table Column Fire Power of Defenders Defensive First Fire
Power factor.
c. If 467 is Pinned by IFT (Infantry Fire Table) Dice Roll result/During that Move Phase/the -1FFMO/-1 FFNAM /No Longer , Apply vs the Squad
is now considered to have hit the deck and is no longer moving
d. Vehicle Modifiers: During Move Phase/Defensive First Fire actions/Taking Place at the Same Time
Moving Modifiers such as +2 for Moving Target and or # of MP expending in Line of Sight of Defending Units Defensive First Fire apply to
the Defensive First Fire To Hit # and To Hit Dice Roll : Example if Vehicle is Moving , the +2 Modifier would be added to To Hit Dice Roll
Example: To Hit Dice Roll 9 /Modifier added + 2 = 11
e. If Vehicle is Armored/Open Top Half Track/ CE Hatches Open AFV/ Infantry Fire vs Crew is resolved on Infantry Fire table Fire Power Column
with +2 CE/Crew Exposed Dice Roll Modifier/The +2 CE Modifier factor of the Crew being inside Armor Vehicle /taking quick glance from open
hatch. The CE DRM applies during any Fire Phase, not just defensive First Fire/Move Phase
f. If Vehicle expends 1 MP During Move Phase, in Line of Sight Defensive First Fire Defender, in addition to +2 for Moving Vehicle , a +2 Expending
1 or Less MP in Line of Sight of Defensive First Fire Unit Applies to Defensive First Fire To Hit Dice Roll.
g. After Move Phase where , the Vehicle that Expended 1 MP, in Line of Sight of Defending Unit, ended.
Defensive Final Fire, now, takes place after all Opponent Units Have Moved
g1. After Move Phase , Defensive Final Fire, vs Vehcile
g2. The +2 Modifier for expending 1 or Less MP in Line of Sight of Defending Unit does NOT Apply , to Any To Hit Dice Roll that Takes Place
g3. Example: Final Fire: Defending Unit , maintained Rate of Fire
may Fire on Vehicle , during Final Fire , the +2 Modifier expending 1 Less MP is not applied as Modifier to Defenders To Hit Dice Roll
g4. After Player Turn, of vehicle that Moved
g5. Defending Player Turn Prep Fire vs Vehicle that expended 1 or Less MP in Line of Sight of Defending Units
During Prep Fire : The # of MP Modifiers of a Vehicle expending 1 or less or 3 or less MP, DOES NOT Apply during Prep Fire Phase
g6. Recap: Move Modifiers Generally ONLY Apply During Move Phase/Defensive First Fire Phase
Unless Vehicle Remains in Motion/Only the +2 Motion Modifier would Apply in any other Fire Phase than Move Phase

Turn One: German Defensive First Fire vs Russian Player BA 6 Lead Armor Car
1. To Hit Dice Roll 4 +3 =7
a. Vehicle Target Type To Hit # /0-6 Hex Range / To Hit # 10
b. Vehicle is Moving +2 Modifier added to To Hit Dice Roll
c. Vehicle expended 1 or Less MP in Line of Sight Defensive First Fire Unit /+2 Modifier Added to To Hit Dice Roll
d. German 9-1 Leader apply Leader Ship Modifier -1
e. Total Modifiers +4 and -1 = 3 added to Dice Roll 7 result of 10 = To Hit # 10 result is Hit vs BA 6 Armor Car
f. Determine Hit Location: To Hit Dice Roll 4 =3 /color dr = or more than white dr result Hull Hit
g. Determine Hit effect :
MG to Kill Table # 4
0-6 Hex Range +1 / To Kill Modifier
Modified To Kill # 5
h. Armor Factor BA 6 Armor Car 1
i. Subtract Armor factor 1 From Modified To Kill # 5 / result 4
j. Make To Kill Dice Roll in Example : Dice Roll 4 /
k. By Rule if To Kill Dice Roll= To Kill # Result is Immobilization if Hull Hit
l. BA 6 Armor Car is Immobilized/Crew must Pass Crew Task Check by Making Dice Roll
Crew Morale 8/ Dice Roll must be 8 or Less for Crew to Pass Check
If Crew fails, Check, the Crew abandons Vehicle/Place Crew Beneath Vehicle
Hazardous Move -2 /Vehicle Cover +1 vs Fire against Crew Abandoning Vehicle
Crew may Re Enter Vehicle in Following Move Phase of Russian Player Turn
