Thankyou. I'm just hoping Kamen finally gets around to finishing his book on the East Prussia operation:

Its been more than ten years since it was first announced!
This additional new release looks interesting as well.

I add us have also PZG GD here
viewtopic.php?f=55&t=235679&start=30#p2147520

With the Panzerkorps Feldherrnhalle 3 new PZKs created end 1944 early 1945 the last is clearly less powerful fight in Hungaria former IV. Panzerkorps.

Another piece of the puzzle in the quest for a detailed Order of Battle. 'Truppeneinteilung der 3.Pz. Army (ohne Versorgungtruppen)' as of 1st January 1945.

A detailed Army Group level operations map as of 13th January 1945: https://wwii.germandocsinrussia.org/de/ ... ect/zoom/9

This particular map has interest as it features a listing of the number infantry reserves (battalions) available at Heeresgruppe and Armee level and the positions of some of non-divisional units present.

Hello Donwhite

would it be possible to have for the 2nd German army, the same table as the one you put online for the 3rd German armored army in January 1945?
Thank you in advance..

Hello Marthus,
I'm still searching for a detailed 'Order of Battle' for 2.Armee. Rest assured if I come across something it will be posted! The 'Heerestruppen übersicht' posted by Art earlier in the thread (Dated early December'44) allows a degree order of battle reconstruction in the meantime.

Cheers

Unsure if it was posted yet, but GDiR has a detailed loss report from 2/8 for 4th Army in January 1945, 8,751 killed, 25,161 wounded, and 6,635 missing, 40,547 total.

https://wwii.germandocsinrussia.org/ru/ ... ect/zoom/8

Much more information compared to the Heeresarzt 10-Day reports for 4th Army in the same period, which is missing the last third of the month:
