Internal migration in an Intermarium
Re: Internal migration in an Intermarium
What were the scores that needed settling?
Re: Internal migration in an Intermarium
Poland was a semi-authoritarian country, many top politicians were sidelined, forced to emigrate, persecuted or even imprisoned. The peasants were restless and believed they were constantly wronged by the government and the ruling elites. Festering ethnic conflicts. Unemployment.
The peasants' strike of 1937 wasn't fun and left scores of people dead, and the opposition promised more and better in 1938 they only relented because of the Sudeten crisis.

RE: Internal Migration In An Intermarium.
Greetings to both citizen 'wm' and the community as a whole. Howdy 'wm"! Well sir, in respect to your posting of Sunday - January 05, 2019 - 5:46am, old yours truly was not at all quite certain if you were describing an era in Poland's turbulent history OR an apropos description of the contemporary United States of America in GENERAL or the State of California in PARTICULAR! It's just something to ponder. Well, that's my latest two Yankee cents worth on this topic gravitating upon social upheaval and shifting demographics - for now anyway. As always, I would like to bid you an especially copacetic day over in your corner of the ever enduring land of Poland.
