Article about the vessel plus the use of new science and technology, specifically mentioning "complex laser scan".
The mentioned "Pipestone County" off Norfolk, Virginia is probably a mistake.
Good WWII pictures accompany article.
Note the legal aspect: U 576 is German property with custody entrusted to the US.
