Does anyone have any information about the promotion dates for Royal Yugoslav Army general Emilo Belić. Here is what I have been able to find so far:

1898: Potporučnik
?: Poručnik
?: Kapetan Druge klase
1908: Kapetan Prve klase
1910: Major
?: Potpukovnik
1915: Pukovnik
1923: Divizijski General
6 Sep 1930: Armijski General

Thanks,

AJK

Dear AJK,

Sadly I am only able to provide a few of the dates.

2 Aug 1901: Poručnik
6 Mar 1905: Kapetan Druge klase
15 Aug 1908: Kapetan Prve klase
6 Mar 1910: Major

He wasn't promoted to Potpukovnik in either 1911, 1912 or 1914 as far as I a have been able to establish so a guess would be 1913 for that rank. Was it normal for officers with rank of Pukovnik to be promoted directly to Divizijski General as a result of the 1923 reform that introduced the four general officer ranks? I haven't really checked.
Kind Regards

Hi Steen,

Thank you very much for your help. I have seen the jump from Pukovnik directly to Divizijski General with other officers, so it may well indeed be tied to the 1923 reform.
