Hi,

Günther Deschner's "Warsaw Uprising" also mentioned Vormann of AOK 9 charged a General Rohr with negotiating the surrender of the Polish Resistance. The negotiation was brokered by Polish Red Cross President Countess Tarnowska, who visited Rohr on Septmeber 4th and 8th 1944

Cheers
Freiherr

OK, I found info on another thread about Gunther Rohr. Died in Dusseldorf in 1966. Does anyone know what he did the remainder of his life? Just stay "retired"? Did anyone come after him for war crimes?

There is another, newer thread on Rohr.
There are times in history when staying neutral means taking sides.
