FN-1935 with Waffenamt and "Trench Art"?

#1

Greetings! My first time to post here.

I'm posting to get some knowledgeable opinions on this FN-1935 my father left me. I've had it for many years, and I fired it a number of times as a teenager. In addition to being marked with the Waffenamt, it has a crest on its grip that seems to tie it to the 27th SS "Langemarck" Div.

I've posted for information in the gunbroker forums for input

https://forums.gunbroker.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=504290

and others have pointed out the marked resemblance between the crest on the grip and the 27th Langemarck "Logo".

Any thoughts? I think I'm going to sell it, but I'm not sure where to do that, or what it may be worth.

No holster, the barrel is in poor shape and sadly, the clip does not seem to be original.

Still a unique piece, I think.

Posting additional pics.

Thanks!
