Is it true Hitler felt that gaining territory without fighting was demoralizing?

I remember reading that the reason Hitler was afraid of another Munich agreement on the Danzig issue is that he felt it was demoralizing for a country to gain land without fighting. Is this a real quote?

He might have said that but he didn't mean it, the real reason was he believed the war would be much more beneficial than diplomacy. He thought like that during the Sudeten Crisis too.
btw According to Irving, days before the ww2, he said " that from now on the German public would just have to get used to fighting."

I would suggest that it was less that he felt peaceful expansion was demoralizing than that he felt that a successful war was more morale enhancing.

Hitler was not looking for a world war, but one, or two small, winnable local wars to restore national military self confidence after WWI at minimal cost. A war with fellow-German Austria was undesirable, so Czechoslovakia, or Poland were always the likely candidates.
