WW2 era photo of SS-Helferinnen?
WW2 era photo of SS-Helferinnen?
I wonder if anyone here can tell the origin of this photograph. Is it an original WW2 photo of an SS-Helferinnen or some reenactment photo shoot?

It looks modern to me. The overall atmosphere of the photo is rather atypical for WWII Germany.

I agree Ivan but thought it may be a still from a documentary. It appears on different webpages so maybe someone recognise it.

Many women participate in reenactors wearing these uniforms, she is correctly uniformed, this is one of them
They make good pictures in B/W, and sometimes one can be confused.
The funny thing is that none girl is German...

But how can you tell this is the case here von thoma? Do you know the source of this picture?
Re: WW2 era photo of SS-Helferinnen?
Women during WWII and especially German women in military service generally didn't pose in front of cameras looking down at some part of their body/clothing, trying to look mysterious and sexy, like women in our era - and like the pictured girl. Also, women in military/police service tend to use much less or no makeup.
