Hello all, just recieved my copy of Stephan Cazenave latest book on the 12th SS during the Normandy battles, its vol 1.2 and covers all the division except the panzer rgt(covered in vol 2 ) , from 6,6,44 to 7,7,44 . I cant begin to tell you how good this book is , everything is to a really high standard ,you can buy direct from the publisher Maranes.

Photo-wise the book is a stunner. The author always manages to find previously unseen views that really do help explain the sequence of things-he just does not always realise what he is seeing though!

Can you post a link to the book under discussion? I couldn't find the volume that covers the period after 05.06.1944.

It is an excellent and highly recommended book = a must have. Furthermore 'Maranes editions' is an excellent company to deal with. Always friendly and efficient. When they say they deliver they deliver and I live a long way from France = Australia.

Ha ha your post's are laughable as usual, you have limited French,so how would you know how good this book is ?
If you have Meyer's book on the subject you really don't need to buy this one UNLESS you want to look at Cazenave's archive !!
Nothing negative just stating a fact I have all his books just so I can access the archive there is nothing new in the texts no great revelations that's not already in print.
