Hello,
Between the evacuation of the german troops in september 1944 from the Estonian mainland, 22.500 russian POW from Baltic Oil were driven with ships to the Estonian Island.
In october 1944 19.600 POW were evacuatet from Ösel (Saaremaa), 13.000 were brought with ships to Danzig.

I would like to know, what happened to them during their time on the Estonian Island, do some POW stay there?
What was their way after they reached Danzig, do they come to KZ Stutthof?

Any information or sources are welcome.

Best Regards
Beate
