At an internment camp for germans in Sweden, the soldiers decorated the entrence of their tents with stones - for example this L-Boot 832. Curious about what exactly is an L-Boot 832??

Looks like PiLaBo, type PiLB 41. https://historisches-marinearchiv.de/pr ... eibung.php
Only thing is that nothing know about numbers 565 onwards.

Hi Mirja,

a) There´s a hint about a L-Boot "312":
https://www.historisches-marinearchiv.d ... _value=172

BUT: It looks like the L-Boot 312 was a misinterpretation of the Siebelfähre "312", which was for sure interned in Sweden and the soldiers later handed over to the Sovjets:
https://www.historisches-marinearchiv.d ... _value=247

b) The numbers beginning mit "8" were also used by the Pi.Ldgs.Btl. 772 / Ldgs.Pi.Btl. 772 from 05/1943.
The number was a tactical one, not the number when ordered, build or delivered.

Thank you for sharing the picture.

Regards

Darius

Hi Mirja,

friends confirmed the L-Boot as Siebelfähre "312".
