Post by nibelung1876 » 09 Oct 2019, 06:51

Hello guys,
Does anyone have an idea if these are SA or SS (in early uniforms) men?
It's not that clear to me.
Thanks !

Maybe it helps that I suspect the photo was taken in 1933.
Thanks again !!

The men flanking the doorway, wearing the "coffee can" hats and brown shirts are S.A., The guy wearing the black uniform with Visor scale is obviously SS.

The two guards at the threshold of the door are SA men

That's great to know Mike, thanks.
I discovered Schaub on another photo i have (on the left), a press photo taken at the 1938 Bayreuth Festival.

Anybody an idea who these two SS-men are?
In the background on the right is SA-Obergruppenführer Wilhelm Brückner (his head only).
It is a 1939 press photo taken at the Bayreuth Festival.
Thanks, Glenn.

I think Karl-Wilhelm Krause is at right...
The SS escort man with aiguillettes could be Heinz Linge ( not sure )

Very useful info for me von thoma, thanks!
Are these mentioned men members of the "SS-Begleitkommando des Führers" or were they just adjutants of Hitler?
Here another photo i have, also taken at the 1933 Bayreuth Festival.

Thank You very much!

Yes, both belongs to this security corp.and to the LSSAH..
On the last picture at the right, we can see again Krause with a NCO rank in the SS.
