Good morning/afternoon/evening forum!
I recently picked up these two 57' pattern medals from my local militaria dealer. Admittedly, both I and the dealer don't have much experience with 57'
pattern medals. Any opinions on the legitimacy and makers of these medals would be greatly appreciated!

I believe the KM Minesweeper badge is a legitimate "57" award. ... Probably 1970/80s manufacture, no idea who made it. The Luftw. Pilot/Observer looks very crude even for a "57" award, with a very fakish looking pin and catch. ..Not an example I'd want it I was interested in the postwar versions.

I didn't pay much for them (around $6.50 usd a piece), so I figured I could afford to take the risk. To be honest, I had my doubts about the pilot badge myself. I'm glad to know that the KM Minesweeper one if legit though, had the opportunity to compare it against a war time issued medal and they looked quite similar.
