German ships west of Gotland 24/11 1944?

You can start from question - what they can do there? That day germans made Sworbe evacuation, all efforts was headed to Montu road.
One thing i remember but not for sure, 2 Kampfgruppe made exchange of ships near Gotland, but absolutely not west of island, but east. Maybe 23/24.11

HI Igorr!
Well, myself I dont think there were any german ships/troops in the area. I just need to make sure because in my research I have come across the comments (even some swedish military intelligence) that (as you say) german troops MAY have used the route west of Gotland during the escape from Sworbe. To me that sounds just ridicoulus of course. Why would they go all this way to head back to Libau? From what I understand thats were the troops were headed?
Like I said, writing a book on the subject I need to be sure. And I think your answer says it all.
Thanks.

Troops and ships was headed Windau (Ventspils) at first, even if later they go to Libau.
