panzertur on facebook (725P3)

Post by dirk Peeters » 26 Nov 2019 11:16

hello
found this picture on the web
00 00.JPG
a friend transmitted it to me
it is an unknown panzerdoor it is said with some blabla
for me it looks an 725P3 as we find a bit everywhere in france not at all local and not at all very strange
for people wo are writing these silly things
i m preparing to transfer my whole archive with the help from the belgian army to the KLM archive in Brussels
I am getting older and if something happens to me i like to see my archive go to a good home and that it stays in one piece (paperwork alone is 16 meters long three meters high without the books of course) plus then the digital side a lot of terrabites
so i hope that it is going to be used by people who will not write things but verify things
i used this topic to announce that my archive is going to be public but it will take some time

so now we can be discussing these doortype
725P3 nice.jpg
3 cm steel (thickness)
a running board (for closing) around 10 cm
one doorgrip of 18 cm
two doorhandles a bit rounded 25 cm each
high 1m 78
width 87 cm
the surounding steel for holding the door in the concrete 8,5 cm width

the dooropening itself is 1m80 by 80 cm

in the panzerbook it is a Stahltur

any found elsewhere like denmark or Holland or Norway ?
i m sure a lot of pictures are going to pop up
ps i don t know where the facebook picture was found

utha beach Wn 08 (redoute)

622 with the door 19P7 on each side before the SaS incroyable no ?
2019-11-26_151459.jpg

look this door not the 4344P01,the same type that we speak, but no for the Gaz,so this is why the 19P7 is placed at the entrance.

i ll hope that more people know will do research a bit deeper before writing things on facebook and whatever other sources and i ll hope that this can be a help for some in the future ( if research doesn t help maybe then prozac ? that calms down i believe , a few years ago a frenchman told me that (bad Joke i ll know) )
there is an old saying in dutch
take 10 books , take a scissor , and the eleventh book is rapidely finished
it is not the amount of books one wrote or edited that is important but the content of your book (s) that counts
