Hello and welcome everyone!

As a new member i would like to say hello to everybody :roll: .
I am thinking of buying this EK I 1939, i am pretty sure its good (if any of more experienced collectors would confirm this that would be awsome! :D ) but i am more interested in engravings on the back. Can anyone help with identifying the unit? looks like IV. Z. I./1. ? any ideas?

NZ I/1. - Nachrictenzug of I-Bataillon/1. what? The designation doesn't seem to make any sense at all. If the '1.' part is a regiment then the 1 should be at the end of the title, i.e. Inf.Rgt-1 or IR-1, not at the start. Can't make out what the bit under the pin says.

Under the pin what i beleive is name Egmont. Egmont Klatthofer?
