I am researching the story of HMS Starwort which was partially funded during a Warship Week by the small town of Northleach. They have memorabilia of Starwort which in 46 went on to become a whaler in the southern oceans, only being scrapped in 1967. She was one of the top three flower class corvettes with regard to lives saved from the sea. Her link to U 660 is that her actions along with fellow Flower Class HMS Lotus led to the loss of U 660
I have images of the crew on the deck (I think they are well known) but wonder if anyone has other images please or further information. The famous Uboat site has the crew interrogation report which is very interesting
Thanks
