Hallo,
Many years ago, I read a book with the title "The Password is Courage". It was a biography of a British soldier by the name of Charlie Coward. He was captured during the fighting in France during 1940 and, as I recall, he eventually ended up at Auschwitz. I do not remember the details. It is not much to go on, but it may be a place for you to begin.
Regards,
Durand

I have a book titled 'Spectator in Hell' by Colin Rushton, printed by Pharaoh Press.
It is the story of Arthur Dodd from Northwich in Cheshire, who served in the 66th RASC.
He was taken POW in N.Africa and was later sent to Auschwitz (he wasn't Jewish), along with a number of other POW's.
I caught the tail end of a documentry last year where A. Dodd was on the site of Auschwitz identifying specific areas.

Sergeant Charlie Coward was a friend of A. Dodd and is mentioned throughout the book described above.Durand wrote:Hallo,
