Opinions needed for two medals

Post by sqnldr » 21 May 2020 14:02

Hi,

I have had these two in my collection for around 20 years id say. I never have them out on display as I'm about 95% sure they're copies/fakes. I acquired them with other pieces which I know to be genuine so came in a larger lot, so has never bothered me much. ie they didnt cost me much.

However to settle my mind here they are for your own opinions!

You are quite correct: - the Coburg is a very bad example

Oh really? Love to hear some more opinions from folks then. It looks like it may have been dug up if it is genuine. Doesn’t seem to be any maker marks though and the pin I was doubtful over but i have seen other badges with this pin type....
