Nationalist foreign volunteers in non-combat roles?

#1

When looking up stuff about foreign volunteers serving the Nationalists, it's fairly easy to find stuff about men who served in combatant roles, but I'm more curious to know if there were any foreign volunteers, on an individual or group basis, who offered their services to the Nationalists for non-combat jobs like doctors, mechanics, laborers, so on?

Yes, there were. However, they were not many in numbers and on the other hand it is not easy to find information about them.
