"Stalingrad" Theme Music

#4

Post by sylvieK4 » 12 Jun 2004, 14:28

What is the title of the theme from the film "Stalingrad"? (Hopefully it is not just "Stalingrad Theme" or something obvious like that. :? :) )

Does anyone know where there is an mp3 version of it online?

Thanks to Kobold for all your help.

I tried to get the theme through emule, but it wouldn't connect. Then Kobold was kind enough to let me try to get it through his ftp, but even that wouldn't work. :(

So, here I sit, still without my Stalingrad music. (Wah!) :(

Thanks again for all your replies and help. At the rate I am going, I may have to try to import the cd.

If you're having trouble downloading the file, contact me on MSN on [email protected] and I'll send over the file, or certain songs you want.

Maybe someone else can then set up another ftp?

I've been racking my brain trying to figgure out the song that the kampf group is sinnging before the chaplain speaks on the movie "Stalingrad".

Can anyone help? I'm a Heer chaplain reenactor and would love to have lyrics for our unit so we can sing before mass.

Similarly, does anybody know the name of the parade music in the opening scene? I LOVE it!

königgratzer [No, it's "Hohenfriedberger Marsch". I. Ž.]

as for the song Norman is looking for, if you check out the ending credits at the very last part you will see 4 songs. It's all blurry so i could only make out 2. One of them is called " Heimat deine St***" I couldnt make out the last word, the 2nd one is called "Dunkel Nacht" those are the only 2 I could make out.

I take that your answer is in response to my question about the marching/assembly music. Know anywhere I can get that song?

EF,

I downloaded the song from Napster a long time ago. You can also hear it in the Indiana Jones movie during the book burning scene.

[The march played in "Indiana Jones" was "Königgrätzer Marsch", which contains the melody of "Hohenfriedberger Marsch" in trio. Played in "Stalingrad" was just "Hohenfriedberger Marsch". I. Ž.]

Thanks Filippov for that.
