[Topic entitled "Which song was sung after Hitler's speech in Vienna on 9 April 1938?" renamed by the host, Ivan Ž.]
Hello!
On the evening of 9 April 1938, the "Day of the Great German Reich" (Tag des Großdeutschen Reiches), one day before the referendum on the joining of Austria with Germany, Hitler gave a speech in the hall of the Northwest train station in Vienna. After his speech, the audience sang a song. A segment of the song is played in the following video.

Re: Which song was sung after Hitler's speech in Vienna on 9 April 1938?
Hello,
It's "Wir treten zum Beten" (Josef Weyl's version), the 2nd verse: "Im Streite zur Seite..."
Cheers,
Ivan
