Bulgarian? Can anyone read this?

Can anyone make anything of this text from the back of a photo? The photo came out of Bulgaria but I'm not sure of its actual origin.

Hi Biber!

Yes, it is Bulgarian. The text reads:

"City of Sofia, April(or September)13 1942

Dear Mincho(given name),
Here on this picture, taken in the tramway en route to the railroad station, you see me and the poor young gypsy named Hassan(given name).
Look how bright the great nonsense, the banality, the misery and the tastelessness of the fundamental social unjustices in this mean and dishonest life are shown. The gypsy plays and sings from the heart, he's poor and I'm poor, he cries and I cry too!
Yours Dimitar(given name)"

HTH,
Angel
