Did somebody know anything about this unit (Turk. security Battalion 831) ?
I found the composition in an older thread but it is the only information about this Battalion

??.??.1943 – set up 4 kp

2./831 1 kp Aserb. Stamm Btl.

There is nothing (nichts) in the Muñoz books, but Tessin has this to say:

Wolgatatar-Infanterie-Btl. 831
Aufgestellt Herbst 1943 in Jedlnia bei Radom/Gen.Gouv.
U: Heerestruppe: Osten, zuletz Bautzen (in Frontnachweiser als Turkvölk.Btl. 831 ohne Angabe der Unterstellung)

That's all there is.
