Hi Edward,

Yes, and.......?

Unless you give us the who, when, where and how, your contribution has no value.

I know you have been studying this for some time, so what have you found out?

Recommended german book from the year 1957/1958: (Germans fighting in Indochina for the French Foreign Legion)

Hans E. Bauer

Verkaufte Jahre
- Ein deutscher Fremdenlegionär berichtet seine Erlebnisse in Indochina und Nordafrika -

C. Bertelsmann Verlag, 292 pages, 32 photos, easy to find, original dust jacket rare in good condition.

Link to ZVAB: ... auer-hans/

Interesting book, found my copy without the dust jacket in the 1980s on a german flea market, price back then just 1,- German Mark.

One of many documentaries on this topic:

Es ist im Leben wichtig, viel zu wissen.
Manchmal ist es noch wichtiger, zu wissen, daß man nichts weiß.
