WW2 German Armband

Post by Porcelain44 » 06 Jul 2021 00:58

Hello. Can you look at this armband and let me know if you think it is original and authentic? It appears to have age and wear but I am not an expert in this period. Thank you.

Mark,

it makes no sense to give an assessment about such a former armband, you will always be wrong.

The regulations of the time, of whatever kind, were many and varied.
On an original uniform jacket, from that time, I would personally trust me an evaluation, here not.

The materials used seem correct to me for a SS Armelbinde ( sewn, wool ), was it unfinished ?
But in that state logically raises suspicions......

Mark, it is more than difficult to evaluate, even assess a then "Armbinde" on the basis of a few photos, that's how simple it is for me, no more, no less.
Even with very long experience, I do not trust myself to make such an assessment.

If you feel offended, please accept my apologies, that was not my intention.
