The effects on Danzig of the loss 60th Motorized Division at Stalingrad?

Two parts of the Reich suffered particularly heavily at Stalingrad. Austria's Wehrkreis XVII (Vienna) lost three locally raised divisions, which was twice the proportion of the rest of the Reich.

However, worst hit was Weherkreis XX (Danzig). This raised only one divisuion (20th Motorized), which contained the core of the city of Danzig's military manpower. The division was wiped out at Stalingrad.

Is there any study of the particular impact of the Stalingrad debacle on the population of Danzig? Did the Nazis have to take particular measures there to shore up local morale?

Cheers,

Sid.
