Origin of Heinz Guderian's last name

My dad's been telling me that Heinz Guderian's last name sounds Armenian given that Armenian first names end with -ian. Therefore, I wanted to ask if Guderian's last name is Armenian in origin or not?

is Armenian in origin or not?
Not at all.
It's derived from German: guter Jan (good John).

Guderian is a German surname. Other spellings are Guderjahn and Guderjan. It is present in Greater Poland and Mazovia in the 19th century.
