The term "Türöffner" "door opener" can also be used in a psychological context. This in the meaning of a behavior generating goodwill or a certain opinion in the sense of the actor. Examples are the distribution of advertising gifts in marketing, populist views in politics that are put forward in order to pursue other purposes of opinion-forming, or techniques of conducting conversations.
Der Begriff Türöffner kann auch in einem psychologischen Kontext verwendet werden. Dies in der Bedeutung eines Wohlwollen oder ein bestimmtes Meinungsbild im Sinne des Akteurs erzeugenden Verhaltens. Beispiele sind im Marketing Verteilung von Werbegeschenken, in der Politik vorgeschobene populistische Ansichten um damit andere Zwecke der Meinungsbildung zu verfolgen oder Techniken der Gesprächsführung.
