Chinese officers visiting NEI in 1947

There was a visit by at least two Chinese (I am assuming KMT) officers to the Dutch East Indies in 1947. On the picture (Dutch National Archives) you can see them posing in Semarang (Java) with Colonel Meijer, CO of the V-Brigade. Involved in the visit was Chinese diplomat, vice-consul Chu Tsang Tung. The two officers are Captain Li Chen Hsiung and Lieutenant Hu Yung Shen.
Does anybody have more information about these two officers, their role and the purpose of the visit?

Apparently the Captain was the military liason officer stationed in Batavia at the time. Here he is as an observer in Poerwakarta in 1948. He is also mentioned in this book: https://books.google.nl/books?id=jmzDDw ... ia&f=false
