Russian 'war mongering' culture reminds me of the USA during the 1990s-2000s and the 1950s-1960s. Bush II and Putin were both called fascists and the US patriotic/hawkish mass media political commentary was similar to the Russian one today. However the politics of the war suggests that they are much less totalitarian than they appear. Putin is more of a 'big boss'/chairman than a Stalin or Hitler, and had to delay mobilization for a year due the unpopularity of conscription. Even in the US the US Army Reserve was called up much more efficiently than this for Iraq

There are other differences of course. In the first two months of the war US/Coalition forces killed over 10,000 Iraqi civilians, largely via collateral damage but they got away with it. When their skin is brown they matter less in our media

Zelensky & the entire Ukrainian military are starring in their own version of "Red Dawn" and have a highly aggressive military misinformation apparatus to support them

It is not difficult to notice that in your passionate speech there is no mention of a very remarkable Nazi with a white tinge, namely the President of Finland in 1940-1944 - Risto Heikki Ryti.

After the Russian invasion of 2014,Finland continued to trade with Russia and its exports to Russia in 2021 (seven years after the 2014 invasion ) were $ 4,36 billion,the highest figure since 2014 .
If you do nothing after the first invasion, you have no right to whine about the second invasion .
And France and Germany continued to sell weapons to Russia after 2014 and only this year have these arms exports stopped, officially .
And most non Nato countries continue to trade with Russia . Some NATO members also .

About Russia and the USSR : there was no Soviet imperialist war between 1939 and 1945 and Germany did not start the war with imperialist aims,opposite to 1914 ; it was Hitler who changed the Versailles borders in Central and East Europe not Stalin .
From the view of the Kremlin, the war that started in 1939 was a capitalist Civil War where the USSR would remain neutral and non committed and would only intervene in the end if both capitalist groups were exhausted,something that was considered as unlikely :the Kremlin was convinced that France and Britain would defeat Germany very quickly .
For the Kremlin the occupation of mostly German allies in Central and East Europe was only a defensive measure .
About the Soviet army being a rapist army, so was the Wehrmacht to which belonged NATO generals as Speidel and Kielmansegg, so were the French colonial troops whose exploits the inhabitants of Rome have not forgotten .And US and British troops were also not innocent .
And about your claims that the attempts to kill Zelensky were genocidal : leaders of countries at war are legitimate targets .
US were involved in the elimination of political leaders of countries with whom they were not at war ,as Iran, Vietnam, Chile,or even of NATO allies as Germany (F.J.Strauss ) .

You and several posters in this thread are not well informed..

Russia performed covert mobilizations and recruitment of volunteers in the summer-spring.

Most of the Russian army withdrew in July-August, to rebuild and train this 'new army'. At the same time they expanded the DPR/LPR forces and turned them into a replicate Russian army. What the media is not telling you is that Ukraine's successes were against a skeleton crew.

The NATO Secretary-General apparently agreed with me yesterday that the Russia will relaunch the offensive in spring 2023, spending the entire winter training.

Russian manpower in Ukraine has likely doubled since October (to 300,000 plus) and they have created extensive trench systems. They have at least 200,000 reservists/volunteers training in Russia and integrating with the army and a further 120,000 conscripts.

So they are getting stronger by the day, while Ukraine wore down their operational reserves and have an ammunition & equipment shortage. Russian defense expenditures for 2023 has increased by 50%. It also unlikely that NATO will be able to manufacture ammunition fast enough to support Ukraine's minimal needs. Russia maintains vast superiority in equipment and ammunition, and their air support has increased.

The Russian energy offensive seeks to damage Ukraine as a whole, both civilian and military. Perhaps by 2023 Ukraine's GDP per capita will fall to $1,000/per capita.

The US/UK media continues to be badly deluded.
