German Long Range Field Cannon ‘Big Bertha’

Post by Richard Stone » 11 Oct 2023 11:00

The attached short article discusses the design specifications and some service history of the German long range Field Cannons, nicknamed ‘Big Bertha’, that were used to shell Paris.

The original article was a 1944 Swiss report. This translated copy of it was printed in the September 1944 edition of the USA professional military reference magazine ‘Military Review’.
