Could this be Erich frommhagen who later became adjutant at Auschwitz? He served with SS-Totenkopf Sturmbann "Gotze" which later became "Heimwehr Danzig"!

Apparently this is the same man.
I've found the following somewhere else on this forum.

Erich Frommhagen - adjutant 1940-41 at both Auschwitz and Neuengamme
later served in the "Totenkopfdivision" 1942-45
- SS PZGD FELD ERSATZ BATT III
- Kdr.I./Pz.GR.6
- Kdr.II./Pz.GR.6
KIA 1945
Also served in SS-TV Brandenberg 1938-39, SS-TK 4 and SS-Heimwehr Danzig 1939.


But all info is a bit confusing as well because in yet another post someone said he ended up being commander of
I. Bataillon with SS-Panzer-Grenadier-Regiment 6 'Theodor Eicke'. And he was KIA while being commander of this unit. There was no date given for the fact he was also commander of II. Bataillon.
Also nothing about his ranks, SS-number and so on. The only thing I know is that he was born on 27-2-1912.
Hopefully somebody can give us some more info about this officer, would be much appreciated.

I agree, it's a great list. I'm now occupied trying to find out the first names of the officers mentioned with only their
familyname. For some this will probably work, for others not because I already did see alot of unknown(to me at least)names.

SS-Obersturmführer Bredemeier could be identical to Willi Bredemeier.
SS-Hauptsturmführer Urbanitz could be identical to Eric Urbanitz.
SS-Untersturmführer Gnabs could be identical to Gerhard Gnabs.

I have all three officers in my files and the information I've have could match with their service within
the SS-Heimwehr Danzig. I don't say it matches but it's highly possible.

SS-Untersturmführer Knaack. Could be indentical to the Knaack that served in 1940 with SS-Totenkopf-Division.
SS-Hauptsturmführer Sparmann. Could be indentical to the Sparmann that served in 1940 with SS-Totenkopf-Division.
SS-Untersturmführer Hartrampf. Could be indentical to Kurt Hartrampf who served with SS-Totenkopf-Division in 1940.
SS-Untersturmführer Stieglitz. Is identical to Karl Stieglitz.

SS-Untersturmführer Zipp. Could be identical to Friedrich Zipp, who served with 3. SS-Panzer-Division 'Totenkopf' in 1943.
SS-Hauptsturmführer Kühn. Could be identical to Max Kühn, who served with the SS-Totenkopf-Division in 1940.
SS-Untersturmführer Mützelfeld. Could be identical to Hans J. Mützelfeldt.

In 3.SS-Pz.Div Totenkopf 's Fuhrerstellenbesetzung dated 1 March 1945 he was
Haupsturmfuhrer und Kdr SS-Feld-Ers.Btl.3. It stated the he was born:20.3.14. Capt:9.11.43
