Sorry Doc, I retract. It's Kiesgen. I have it myself under Kiesgen. Mistook him for Marienfeld without checking!!

I have this signed book Infanterie Im Osten in which
Martin Veldkamp has his photo and signed the book.

Can anyone please tell me what he has written.

Thankyou

The caption says Wolfgang Zietz, the RK looks genuine, but I can find no reference to a RKT of that name. Anyone know him? (source: Scherzer)
Officer named Wolfgang Zietz , the photo is known since the war's end , it is on the Scherzer photo DVD as well -> it is common knowledge, that this man is not a Knight's Cross Holder (there is no proof for that until today at least) / AHF id

The writing says: As a souvenir of Emden, dedicated to family Hermann Djuren I got to like as a present before your emigration to America. Emden, April 10 1949, Martin Feldkamp

Hi Ulrich!
Are you sure it's Feldkamp? There's no Martin Feldkamp as a RKT recipient, at least at http://www.das-ritterkreuz.de

To me the letter looks more like an F (see http://www.suetterlinschrift.de); and Feldkamp is much more common (see for instance http://www.telefonbuch.de). However, in Emden it's just 9:6, so I admit I might well be mistaken. Perhaps he used both spellings.

I can read Martin Veldkamp. Have a look at the word "Familie" there you can see the different between V and F.

Could the Bundesmarine RK winner that I posted in the previous page be Wilhelm Meentzen?
