Hi,
@35 General der Pioniere Alfred Jacob (RK KVK), General der Artillerie Heinrich Meyer-Buerdorf (left) and Generaloberst Hans von Salmuth (right).
Andrey.
Behind Rommel is Generalleutnant Friedrich DIHM, but do you know who is the General at the back behind Jacob?
Lado
Hello, looks like Gen. Ernst Gerke.
thanks Bern
It is NOT Gerke, Bern.

Dammit, I know who this general is, but right now I don't remember his name, Lado.

Hi Hugo,

This is an interesting subjective observation, but it is an objective fact: on the picture we see an Oberleutnant and not a Major. That decided the question!
Hi George,
thanks for your response, but I'm not giving up on this one yet. A few more arguments to consider are the following one's.
Luthardt was wearing at his RKT-award ceremony, under the EKI a wounded badge in black on the right and an infantry assault badge in silver or gold on the left. On the photo's of Remer, he is wearing a wounded badge in silver or gold on the left, on the same place as this unknown one. When looking when he received those, it was 1939, 1940, when he was still an Olt. So can this be an old uniform vest, or a later added RK?
Then there are still besides the difference of the nose, also the ears of Remer, which are open wider. I don't see any photo of Luthardt, on which his cheekbones are that wide and then rapidly dropping inward to his temples, while I see that same characteristic with Remer.
Allways open for another opinion, or information unknown to me,
Kind regards,
Hugo.

Who is Otto Beutler in those two pictures?
The office with glasses behind von Schwedler.
And we can see it is an Oberst with 1914 EK 1 from the documentary.

But the other officer between and behind Stülpnagel and Schwedler is still unknown.

Thanks!

I just remembered that I already identified Beutler in that same photograph more than a year ago.
