Hi!
This Generalleutnant RKT and DKiG holder was mis-named as von Strachwitz here: http://www.strachwitz.net/content/view/143/42/lang,en/
Any ideas as to his true identity?
Regards,
VJK

KC ID
Hi Elwyn, ref Behrend pic,154 Inf Regt was with
the 58th Inf Div,as you know it is not a great
pic,but the officer could be Curt Siewart ?? as he never
won his KC till feb44,a month before Behrend won his OAK,
it is not his former Cmdr Von Graffen as he won KC in 1942,
it is possible it could be Leyser

RKT was identified as Pleiß (I agree)
and the man standing next to him as Hermann Weiser.
I believe this officer (most probably SS-Hstuf.) is Gunter d'Alquen.
He is dressed the same as d'Alquen at that time: he wears no decorations except his EK II ribbon
and his party badge, which Weiser never wore because he wasn't even a member...
Cheers,
Ivan
