Hi Joerg,
I don't think it can be Köhnke. The ears don't match at all. I agree that the face looks similar, but .......
Did Köhnke win the Spanienkeuz mit schwertern?
On pinterest.fr, I saw the same picture where the unknown is identified as Otl. Theodor Rossiwall, he must have lost a lot of weight however?
Kind regards,
Hugo.

You're right, not Köhnke. He was in Spain and has the "Spanienkreuz mit Schwertern" but if you compare the ears, it was not Köhnke. Rossiwall could be, but he was an Oberstleutnant since May 1944, not only a Major as the man in this pic.

Page 1324, @23a - Not Kriebel, with Theodor Friedmann is Walter KEINER.
Page 1326, @40 - Behind STEINMETZ is Wilhelm von Hagen and left is Alfred Heyn(already ID).
Page 1327, post 19897, 2nd photo - not Koch but Horst Kerfin.

]I´d rather say he is Gen.Lt. Walter BEHSCHNITT.
Cheers.
