Re: Knight's Cross Holders Identification
Rudolf Schmidt doesn't look like a match in my eyes, too. Dehner instead of Stumme I could subscribe to, too, the explanation sounds plausible. Nothing certain at this moment on my side.
Two requests are crossed out from the not id'ed section. Doubles and on the index already (in any case with the best quality version) :
4565 (BA).jpg p225 = Helmut Thoma, p 242
and
Unknown~.jpg - Hans-Ekkehard Bob ? p160 = Bob, page 169
Another two - weren't asked yet - are captioned now ; on the index already with the new wiki/BA version :
Gerhard Heilbronn , pp 178 / 227 ; Rupert Gruber , pp 179 / 229
/ Bernd

Re: Knight's Cross Holders Identification
The suggestion for page 21 : 56.jpg was Peter Sauerbruch.
For comparisn see the autograph attached (source: from a personal collection). There are similarities, but I think it's not him.

Re: Knight's Cross Holders Identification
Robert Freiherr von Prochazka is a wrong id.
For comparisn see here (for example) the only known portrait photograph (with the cut-off KC !) :
http://www.ritterkreuztraeger.info/rk/p ... chazka.pdf
The man looks like Josef Graßmann, but hm..
