Hilfe Bitte! Not trying to hijack thread, but anyone here know where I can get this specific original ZF41 scope mount adapter style for my '41' K98k Mauser, either blank or perhaps with correct WaA214 proofs (2) on right side front?! . . . I'd sure be grateful knowing. Have correct scope and mount, just need this specific mount adapter now for competition '41' Mauser I am shooting. :milwink:

OK, am new to this site, so if there is a more appropriate thread where this post belongs, one of you veteran posters can perhaps redirect/move this post and let me know . . . TIA.

Just a note: It's (Mauser) Borsigwalde, not Borgiswald.

Probably is, but if I sold it what would I do with the $$$, so I just hang onto it and occasionaly add something else. This is a 60 yr collection.
Yep, for whatever reason I make that mistook about half the time. Maby I should just put S/243?

We are making a new weapon exhibition in Silkeborg Bunkermusem in Denmark. We have just received a Kar. 98k. with an ERMA Einstecklauf Mod. 1924 for our collection, but it is missing both bolt and magazine. We have been trying to find them through our usual channels but no luck.

Does anyone here now where we might find such?

My latest addition and my 1st Luger. A Code "42" with original holster serialized to the pistol, tool, and one matching magazine and one non-matching. Must have sat in a desk during the war or was taken off an officer early in the war, very little wear, I would rate it 97-98%. Pleased as punch with this rig!

I also picked up 2 WWII Walther PP's this month.

No trying to be picky, but...
Dan, it looks like the Czech(?) Mauser that's third from the top in the vertical assortment of Mausers has it's rear barrel band on backwards. The side loop should be on the left side of the rifle.
Pat
He who lives by the sword, should train with it frequently.

Hi Pat. Thanks it has been changed. This is a pre set up photo. I will see if I can find some more recent ones.

It's a nice display.

Is the StG44 painted? Is that historically accurate? I am not being picky, I really don't know. I've seen Panzerfausts and other weapons painted in that dark yellow before (as well as AFV's of course) but not firearms.

I don't suppose it could be white winter camouflage paint that has yellowed over the years?

No, and it is 100% genuine. The state defence history museum in Copenhagen also has one in their collection.
