now it´s my turn. Please grant a short time out. I wonder if there is any question Glenn could not answer. Actually I don´t think so. But I´ll try.
Ya you'd better post your quiz while Glenn's sleeping in order to give us laymen some chances to participate!

Do you guys have a picture of Obwurzer when he was in the SS? I've never seen one!

Best Regards!

The tunic and mantel look Hussar to me, but I've never seen such a helmet! Perhaps he's from one of the Grenzhusarenregimenter?

Best regards!

Very good Glenn ... it´s up to you.

Orok ... at least you were right with your Hungarian thought. Have to quit now ... otherwise my girl friend will stop paying for the internet.

How stupid I am!! I should have guessed! Here's a picture of General Lazar in Royal Hungarian Bodyguards (Magyar Kiralyi Testörseg) uniform, which is the direct successor of the Royal Hungarian Trabanten Lifeguard! You can see the same style and decoration on the mantels!

Best regards!

We don't want you to get in trouble with the Girlfriend

Orok, there are a couple of decent pictures of Obwurzer in Mark Yerger's "Waffen-SS Commanders", Volume 2.

Little bit harder this one: Future Luftwaffe General Officer:

Luftwaffen Generaloberst Alexander Löhr? Or perhaps General der Flieger Stefan Fröhlich? looks more like Fröhlich to me. But wasn't he with Sapper units during the war? The truth is I don't know who he is!

Best Regards!

Luftwaffen Generalmajor Rudolf Ortner-Weigand?

He was Commander of the 13. Flik 1917 with the rank of an Oberleutnant.

Best Regards!
