Hi Orok,

the then Stabsfeldwebel Josef Kiss, later Offizierstellvertreter and ultimately a posthumous Leutnant in der Reserve. Holder of three Golden Bravery Medals!

Best regards
Glenn

Now let see what you have for us this time!

Best Regards!

Another TJR Officer

Hi Orok,

if only that was the case!

Keeping in the theme of later WW2 senior officers/officials who can identify the very senior person facing the camera? He was a Leutnant in TJR. 3 then but rose to great heights including the rank of an SS General.

Regards
Glenn

Orok,

just noticed the question about promotions to officers' rank. One other senior non commissioned officer was posthumously promoted to Leutnant - Offizierstellvertreter Franz Rybicki of Landwehr Infanterie-Regiment/Schützen-Regiment 20.

Hi Glenn,

I have no clue as to who the young Leutnant in your photo could be! :D Perhaps Herr Stauffenberg can do better than I! 8)

As to Offizierstellvertreter Franz Rybicki, although it is a bit off topic, I would like to know what feat he'd performed to earn him such a posthumous honor. I've done a google search but turned up nothing.

Thanks and Best Regards!

If it is not Scholz now, I have noe clue. I only know Phleps, Ranzenberger, Zeidner, Scholz, Obwurzer and Hampel later joining the W.-SS. Augsberger and Stadler both were too young. :|
