The SD Field units mentioned in the above (August 1941, 300 people) were from Police Battalion 304. Source Prague Military History Records, Reel 18, USHM

Same Source: HQ company, HSSPF South also was operating here and killed 614 Jews in the same approx. time period. My guess is the PB was targeting known Bolsheviks and Jews from the Collective Farm while HSSPF was doing the town intelligentsia. HSSPF South was taking Police Regiment Souths reports and forwarding them to RF-SS with their comments. From these reports some of the material in the "Einsatzgruppen Reports" were made is my guess.

Pol Btl reports to Regiment to HSSPF to RFSS who maybe mentions it to the guy with the funny mustache over tea?

July/August was the quick cleanse for the above. HSSPF South had troops back there later for the serious roundups and murdering. Police Regiment South was effectively an einsatzgruppe during this period.
