Here in Chicago we have a fascist statue by the lake near the Shedd Aquarium- a gift to the people of Chicago from Mussolini! There is also a statue in front of the Field Museum that clearly has Mussolini in the collage!
Every now and then some groups tries to remove them but the city says it would cost too much to do so! No nazi's or Klansmen have ever rallied by these, presumably because going to museums is a low priority for them!

Hi,JPHN wrote:....the symbol of a swastika doesn't mean anything bad in origin. I think it was originated in India, and it meant something good, like for good luck, prosperity, etc.

If there was a statue of Adolf Hitler, they would have removed it regardless of the cost, I bet it.Psycho Mike wrote:Here in Chicago we have a fascist statue by the lake near the Shedd Aquarium- a gift to the people of Chicago from Mussolini! Where not even the Soviets destroyed, the Politically Correct folk finish the job. Brilliant. But only the trees planted by Hitler Youth volunteers in 1937 will be cut, leading to fears that their stumps could leave a swastika-shaped scar still visible.
The symbol was largely forgotten about during the Cold War
